It is called "partial reeforcement" in the Psych 101 classes, just ask any
Psych Professor type. The rat will keep hitting the button to get the pellet of
food even if it only happens once in awhile. Then hitting a potshot really
enforces the concept, when you get the five course lobster dinner instead of a
