True if you use the same strategy. But there must be a few little wrinkles
when going to 8/5 from 9/6 Jacks. Running Winpoker, perfect play would result
in these frequencies:
                   9/6 8/5 (one in every)
Royal 40,391 40,170

SF 9148 9288

and other hands also have different frequencies. It is not readily apparent
what strategy changes would result in more royals and less SF, but first guess
would be the two to a royal/three to a SF decision.

But it is weird how casinos offer their best paytables. Some give quarter
players the best paytables and others give dollar players the best bet.

Wild Card games are even goofier, at least in Laughlin. In CB/EW and RP the
best Wild Card games are in quarters. Go to the Riverside and Harrahs and the
best Wild Card game is in dollars. At GN-L it is in nickels and dimes.
Pioneer offers their best Wild Card game in quarters/halves/dollars.

Yes, the same strategy disclaimer should be in there, however I never
thought there would be strategy changes from 9/6 Jacks to 8/5 Jacks.
The changes must be very low value changes however. A person would
have to be a perfectionist to learn these changes. There are some
changes playing 9/6 Jacks vs. 8/5 bonus poker because of the enhanced
quad values to A,2,3,4. In reading 5-cards wrong strategy table
playing 9/6 Jack strategy on 8/5 BP will yield only a loss of 0.01%.
The loss from 9/6 Jacks to 8/5 Jacks would have to be much much
lower. I am guessing 0.005% It is interesting that there would be a
difference at all.
