This information is about 4 months dated, but here was the situation then:
Harrahs:
There is a bank of machines that have DDB, JOB, DB and I think DW right to the left when you enter, I believe, the Island Casino (they have two "boats" from the days when there were boarding time restrictions on the books in MO). If I'm wrong, try the other casino. The bank is very easy to identify, it has "98.9% Return", "98.6% Return etc". signs on top of all the machines. The is only on 9/6 JOB machine in the bank. All are quarter machines
Ameristar has a bank (probably 8 or so) of quarter 9/6 machines about midway back in the casino close to the craps tables. If you are looking for 9/6 this is a better bet as there are usually machines open. The rest of the inventory in not very good, or wasn't very good 4 months ago anyway.
These casinos are in St Charles by the river, about a 15-20 minute ride west on I-70 from downtown. There is a boat downtown, however I have not played there in years. It's inventory is listed on the VPFree db. AA may have been one of the offerings.
Hope this helps.
