vp in reno

I haven't been to Reno in years, but Silver Legacy, Atlantis
and Peppermill seem to be the popular choices.

I'm posting your question on vpFREE_Reno where you can
read any responses.

In your opinion, which casino would you play vp in reno? I am a

machine.

purely VP answer:

Silver Legacy: Three games over 100% EV:

FPDW (100.7%)
(6) 25c MG/MD uprights on the South wall near the SE corner of the main floor.

20/7 JW (100.6%)
(10) 25c MG/MD/TITO slant-tops near South mezzanine Keno.

10/7 DB (100.2%)
(10) 25c MG/MD/TITO slant-tops near South mezzanine Keno.

Peppermill: One game over 100% EV:

10/7 DB (100.2%)
(3) 5c (10-Coin) PROG MG/MD uprights near the Rainbow Bar (upstairs).
(7) 25c PROG uprights near the Fish bar.
(5) 25c MG/MD/TITO slant-tops between buffet and coffee shop

For progressives at all denoms, most games: Peppermill has so many machines that you
are bound to find a prog near or over 100% EV in your favorite game.

Silver Legacy has many banks of progs: 25c (8/5) & $1 (7/5) Bonus poker and 25c & $1
9/6 DDB

Atlantis has a healthy smattering of Progs, but no base games over 100%.

For comps, ambiance, room and restaurant reviews, hey - there's plenty of reports on that,
and there's lots of opinions, you'll want to try them all and form your own opinion.

As another Reno "veteran", I second Mark's astute observations.

I would add though, that Atlantis still has 50 & 100 Play 9/6JOB, down
to .01C! I believe SL does also. Atlantis also has a few STP 9/6JOB,
which I have not found at the other two casinos.

I would (and DO) pick SL for VP, Atlantis for food and ambiance
(especially in the Concierge Tower) and the PEPP for best gourmet room
(White Orchid). Much like real white orchids the food is pricey but
exquisite.

Hope that you enjoy Reno and snare lots of jackpots!

The Peppermill is our favorite, and at the quarter level you get 10/7
DB progressive along with numerous BP and DDB progressives. Food is
great -- no bad places to eat here. Several themed bars are
interesting. Live entertainment nightly. Very nice poker room with
best (largest) regular daily tournaments.

Decor is a little shocking at first, probably the world's largest
collection of pink and purple neon, but it grows on you.

& they all are great choices, read the XCELLENT trip reports in the

archives to get a better picture. Atlantis & the Pepp have NSUD & 9/6
JOB on every bartop .25 & higher, Atlantis with progresives.
Food & rooms great at both.
