It's ten years since I was in San Juan, but I doubt things have changed. The casinos there have a license to steal. The best VP I saw was 7/5 Jacks or Better. We never dropped in one coin anywhere.
Use your time for sightseeing in the day (the fort, little shops, and much more), and nightclubbing at night if so inclined. Save for gaming bankroll for when you get home.
