My husband & I were driving from Portland to Yosemite a few years
ago, and began to look for a Motel for the night. We stumbled upon
the "7 Feathers Casino" in the middle of nowhere. They showed us a
room which was quite comparable to any standard room on the LV
Strip, and quoted us a rate of $85.00 for the night, adding that
they would discount the room if we gambled. My husband played BJ
for a couple of hours (nickles, dimes and quarters) and I played the
best game available, a non-prog. 8/5JoB. I was determined not to
play more than one twenty. The stupid thing began hitting
immediately (5 quads, and than a SF). I wound up ahead $125.00 and
thery comped the room and breakfast.
Go figure!
P.S. They also gave us each the fanciest and best retractable
slotcard bungee cord, for joining their slot club. I/'m still using
mine for LV and my husband's for Reno. He refuses to use one and
NEVER leaves his card behind.
