VP in Oregon

Just returned from a car trip to Seattle (from LV), taking highway
101 south through Oregon and California. We passed numerous casinos
on the way, nearly 20 I think. We stoped at one, The Mill, an Indian
casino in downtown North Bend/Coos Bay. This is a nice facility, and
includes hotel rooms.

The VP, as far as I could tell, was standard LV style (not VLT's)
made by IGT. The payschedules were poor, of course, although we did
play a bank of 9/5 DDBP with three progressives for the top hands.

Can anyone verify these machines are not VLT's, or does Oregon have
the same VLT laws as Washington?

These are actual video poker machines, not VLTs, and are random,
although it should be noted that Oregon law doesn't require VP to be
random (so VLTs would theoretically be legal).

Oregon seems to take somewhat of a laissez-faire attitude toward
Indian casinos, as all of the ones that exist are in economically
depressed areas where resource economies have gone south (Coos Bay,
Lincoln City, Grande Ronde, Pendleton, Hwy 97 north of Klamath
Falls, and Canyonville).

I have never found any decent VP in any of those casinos.
