Just got back from a complimentary night at the Joliet Harrah's.
Didn't have much $$$ to spend, so I went looking for a good VP.
Didn't find a god one easily, but I did find a 1$ with a paytable of

Popped $20 in the machine, and the first hand I was dealt was a four
of a kind! $125 smackeroos!
Played for a while, and left with my original $20 + $115 not bad for
my first "serious" foray into VP.
They actually have some decent machines at the $1 level, you can play
the 50-play machine one hand per deal and it has both 9-6 JOB and 8-5
bonus poker... a nice improvement over the 8/5JOB you were playing.
The games in the Video Poker area are all bad...they don't even have
fun nickle level games with bad schedules...a guilty pleasure.

Received an invite (free) to majestic star for a $5K slot tournament (on
Sunday 2/20) today. I figure if they fully book the event a player will
have an expected return of $17.86, but if you are going to cash in a voucher
anyway, it might be worth it to play.
