I had the exact same problem this past weekend with our desktop. I
contacted VPW support and at first they wanted a diagnostic of my computer.
Eventually they indicated that on some computers the problem was caused by a
Windows update. I was able to download the latest version from their website
and did not need an activation code, although they were happy to give it
to me if needed. The support team has been very helpful.
I am having the same problem with my laptop and will be trying the download
on it soon. Son has my netbook that we use for travel and I'll be
interested to see if it is affected al well.
