I recently went into Seneca Niagara new casino.
I noticed that the VP machines showed you what to hold on every hand.
I know this casino can't wait to pay out on VP so they are helping all
the novices /sarcasm off.
Seriuosly, Has anyone seen these macines before?
We haven't played at Seneca since early spring because the machines
mysteriuosly went stone cold when construction started on the new hotel

Pick em in the new area doesn't have the auto hold feature. I noticed
that the nickel multi strikes did have auto hold. These I would be
leary of because of the strategy changes on the lower lines.
As for the machines being "stone cold" we found just the opposite.
Caught a few royals two weeks before the hotel opening.

Nope...just $1 and $5, five of each. That brings the total of dollar machines to 15. The new ones do play a little faster then the others.

Machines that suggest which cards to hold are in the Indian casinos in northern California. They are not always your friend. Be careful.

For a few years the Peppermill, in Reno, had a bank of machines (4X4)
near the Steakhouse, that contained the following FULLPAY games: DW,
JW, LDW, JOB. These machines also held the "proper" play for you at
the draw. With a few JW exceptions (always holding 3SF over a small
pair)the holds were quite accurate. It was easy (though time-
consuming) to overide the machine hold. One DID have to be alert to
not whiff the proper hold away, by automatically trying to hold cards
that were already held.
I'd take that annoyance back in a heartbeat, to be able to play those
machines again!

candy on Valentines day and once even got 5.00 in freeplay.
