Once again, thanks to VPfree for the most up-to-date and informative
site on the web concerning Vp and all things Vegas. I have
participated
in the polls section about my favorite casinos for VP, but I always
am
interested in the 'why' aspect of the question. Is it all about the
money...i.e., you have had the most luck, hit the most royals, it has
better cashback. Or is it the other variables of the casino...from
the
wait staff, to the decor, to the crowds,etc. I will answer my own
question first. I like Sam's Town and Green Valley Ranch best for
full
pay VP. They are off the strip and seem to be at least a little less
crowded. The layout of these casinos are to my liking. Lots of room
and
lots of different types of machines. This is to my wife's liking,
because she loves all the new special effects slots with bonus games
like Star Wars, etc. I also look for full pay VP slant tops, because
they are just more comfortable to sit at for extended periods of
time.
Being a man with a bad lower back...this makes them a priority. I
also
like a casino that seems inviting and not overwhelming. To me,
Bellagio, MGM, NY NY, Paris, Venetian, etc. are a bit too much on my
senses. Of course, their VP stinks too. Anyway, I am just interested
in
all opinions of those who love VP and Vegas as much as I do. To each

VP favorite casinos...but why?
On the strip, I like Monte Carlo, TI, Caesars, Barbary Coast,
Harrahs,
Venetian, and Bellagio. Why? Well they all have great atmosphere
(with the exception of Barbary Coast), a good selection of VP games
and most importantly, denominations. My favorite overall out of
those
would have to be Monte Carlo. What a great overall property. No
sensory overload, just an inviting casino with good selection, clean
air, good restaurants, good location, nice rooms reasonably priced.
They have a LOT of VP in there relative to other machines.
Barbary Coast I like not because of the atmosphere, but because of
the
game selection. Lot's of multi game/denom, plus they have some old
single game coin droppers in there which I think is cool. Too much
smoke to be in there for more than 20 minutes though, so it's in &
out
for me.
No trip to the Venetian would be complete without walking over to
the
Casino Royale next door 
Same goes for Monte Carlo. Walk next
door
to the Boardwalk for a reverse sensory overload and a few laughs.
Hey, I popped a $500 winner at the Boardwalk. Watch out for the
annoying Timeshare salesmen in there though.
Off strip I've only ventured as far as the Palms/Rio part of town.
I
WANT to like the Palms because of their very cool casino and full-
pay
machines. But, playing full pay doesn't guarantee you will ever
win,
and I haven't won a dime in there. Very tasty breakfast buffet
there
as I remember.
Across the street at Rio, I love the place. Easy in/out, tons of
multi-denomination. Only bad thing I can say is that it's a bit
loud
in there, but hey it's a carnival.
I'm with ya on the slant tops. They are most comfortable.

I can think of a couple other bad things.....like pathetic VP and the
worst blackjack game in North America.
I dunno, I've always done really well in there on bonus poker.

Not sure, but perhaps you are wrong. It is the worst blackjack game
in the World!!! Please post any worse, I can not seem to find any.
