VP Daughter tells all

I just returned home from a wonderful birthday celebration with my
Mom. Thanks for everyone's gift suggestions, they were much
appreciated. With Bob Dancer's above-and-beyond-the-call-of-duty
assistance, I was able to give Mom an autographed copy of his new
novel, "More Sex, Lies, and Video Poker" (after assuring him she was
over the age of 21), as well as a future addition of his new
software product. Mom was delighted and since the book had just
arrived from the printer she did not have it yet--but was planning
on buying it--and, of course, she does not have a computer program
that hasn't been released, so my goal was met to get her something
she didn't already own. NO EASY FEAT!

The funniest parts of this little charade were:

1) Getting an email from my Mom's IRL (in real life) friend
wondering if VPDaughter was me--I confessed.

2) Getting an email from my Mom wondering is VPDaughter was me--I
lied.

3) Reading the post from the guy who thinks because my Mom doesn't
choose to go to Las Vegas shows that she might have a "problem."

4) Reading the post from my Mom, defending VPDaughter to the guy who
thinks her mother might have a "problem."

So, who is VPDaughter's Mom?

The one and only "Babe." Ain't she the GREATEST??!!

I love your mom -- and it's easy to see that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!

Way to go ED! (Since your dad = EH, excellent hubby, I figured that you truly earned the moniker excellent daughter.) Great gifts and great charade!

Also, I'm glad to hear you had a fun trip.

My reaction exactly, you're as charming as your mom. You're
both lucky to have each other.
