I have never asked a player who
was doing the pounding, why they did this (mostly to avoid a
possible confrontation) but I am curious about it. Does anyone on
this forum do this, or know why others do? Again, I am NOT
referring to firmly holding cards before discarding.
Mike used to "suggest" to the folks that did this that he could call a slot
tech to look at those "sticky" buttons that they were having so much trouble
with. ; ). Sometimes it worked to call attention to their annoying habit,
but usually they just ignored the suggestion and kept pounding away.
