VP as a job, was Re: Circus Circus video blackjack

I agree with you completely. And I have no "sense of entitlement."

As for ramdonstu, please let him speak for himself.

BJayGold....I believe randomstu was talking about the benefit to
society; not the benefit to friends and family. Video Poker does
not add to the productivity or GDP of the United States. It simply
is a tool for redistributing wealth. I have no problem with that;
heck, I benefit from that redistribution myself. However, I do have
a problem with the attitude of entitlement that many pros have. If
all pros fell off the face of the earth tomorrow, the standard of
living would not go down one iota in the United States. This
Darwinian attitude conflated with a sense of entitlement is what
makes me nauseous sometimes.

BjAy....I didn't even know you were a pro. I was referring to
palladinggaming, who believes that since he is a pro he is entitled
by fiat to keep all good plays to himself.

Also, I'm not speaking for randomstu, just pointing out a logical
interpretation of his statement. By your logic, if advantage
players give their hard earned winnings (or freebies) to family
members with a drug habit, they'd be helping society in the process.
Helping out friends and family is nice, but it's still just a form a
redistribution.

Some hubristic board members feel that they are the forum police,
e.g. pallaginggaming told me to "keep my mouth shut," and you said
to "let randomstu speak for himself." When the administrator
appoints you guys as content censors, then I'll accede to your
wishes.

Actually, let me be of assistance here. It would be highly
unprofessional of me, as well as unprofitable to let you know
everything I was playing. Sorry, it's not personal, it's just business.

A lot of the stuff that's been profitable for me, I've either worked
out or found on my own. For the most part, the group is unwilling to
do either. It may be mystic to you, but that's you. Some people you
just can't reach...
