Just catching up on the thread here,
and has anyone mentioned this?
STAY AWAY FROM $Dollar DB! or even .25 DDB.
Those must be 2 of the more 'volatile' kinds of VP out there.
There are OTHER games to play....
($80/hour or not, I'm sure the bankroll needed to outlast
some 'losing' droughts must be huge).
Just my opinion (from a low roller who has attempted SOME .50 DB,
and had some WILD rides.). I'll stick to quarters....
" I just need somebody, ANYBODY to tell me how
they've carried satchels of money out of the Wynn and I'll shut up
and go try again."
PS - On 'walking out of Wynn' with "Satchels of $$".
I wouldn't call it satchelfulls, but I managed to eke out a $50-100
profit on their games during my stay last November; (which was for
TWO FREE nights).
HOWEVER - your post makes me think my comp account must now also be
in the 'red'. (However, I was there BEFORE they upgraded their
comps for new members to the free buffet offers).
I'd try again; but maybe if you play dollars - try the OTHER games.
Isn't the JB with 90 for SF available for .50c/$1??
Or even the "Semi-ugly" 2s game??
Martin.

Count me as a loser on these machines too. Not to defend his

correctly, was
exactly this. Full pay machines don't neccessarily mean "winners."
Maybe he
has proved his point??

Subject: [vpFREE] Re: Voyage of the Damned at the WynnI played on those machines outside the Red 8 on Tuesday, April 18,
from noon-5 p.m., exclusively 10-6 DDB at the quarter level. I
think
I got 2 sets of quads in that time, and lost about $300. That's a
return of about 94 percent. During that stretch of 5 hours I saw no
one doing well on the other 3 machines.>

dollar VP at the Wynn. I'm down $12,886 (not including freeplay and
cashback) playing solely on their "advantage" machines. Some of
this
loss was recorded playing their FPDW (100.7%). That's 95.7%. In
itself not compelling. But the thing is, I've never even SEEN a
royal
flush at the place. <SNIP>>
