How do you tell if a VP machine is a VLT or not .
All the machines at Yonkers are VLTs however that does not determine whether it is a random draw or not since a VLT can be either. (However at Yonkers they are not a random deal by state statute.)
I have seen the "little genie " appear on some of the machines that people next to me are playing , however I have never gotten one. Do all the machines have to be VLT or can just some be that and others be regular machines.
Yes, the machines will be consistent. There will not be a mixture. This is determined by applicable regulatory law and if you are really curious I suggest that you research the applicable New York State statute. (You should be able to do it online. However the fact that the genie appears and by doing research under the "help" button is your clue that this is not a random deal.)
We have been doing fairly well there and I have seen a lot of jackpots on a lot of machines not only VP. I'm doing better than the 6/5 at Mogegan and Foxwoods thats for sure. IF these are VLT machines should we play them , and does the paytable mean anything ??
Again, these are video lottery terminal but since New York State for the racinos does not allow a random deal, the paytable does not allow you to calculate the long-term payoff for the machine except to know what you will be paid on each hand.
