Thank you for the information about GSR. I've been really scratching my head as to how they award mailers. 2 x $700 per month used to be very achievable. 2 x $1500, and possibly 2 x $2000, existed. I got 2 x $400 in July, but then had a mysterious steep decline right after that--to the point of busting me down to hotel rooms only Sunday through Thursday. If that's the new norm, it's a real shame. I'll keep gathering data points, and if anyone else wants to post about experience at GSR it would be much appreciated.
There haven't been any recent downgrades at Eldorado or Silver Legacy.
9/6 JOB with good comps used to be absolutely run of the mill in Reno and the Tahoe Basin. I mean, a casino just wouldn't get any business if it didn't put that on the floor. So those of us a tad over 40 tend to consider anything less to be pretty bad.
