Visiting LV beginning of April....looking for opinions

I am making my first 2003 visit to LV at the beginning of April. I'm
primarily a 25c - $1.00 VP player. It seems that conditions can be
very fluid out in LV. For example, last year when I visited LV,
Suncoast and Orleans were considered good places to place. That seems
to have changed.

I'd like to pose this question: "If I were visiting LV at this time,
the casinos I would definitely play VP at would be:______". I was
wondering if some of you would be kind enough to fill in the blank for
me.
For me, the answer used to be "the local's casinos". Not so sure which
ones anymore. Thanks.

It depends on what is important to you,cash back or machine selection. The best cash back is found at the hilton but the selection of full pay machines is limted. The best selection of full pay machines is probably found at either fiesta or the palms, but they have no cash back. The coast properties still have a nice selection of video poker amd .25 cash back(although it is coin out). For an out of towner like you and me it is very important to find a few casinos and try to stick with them;ie give them your play for the better offers in the mail. I try and float may play between 3 or 4 casinos. I like sams town for the rooms,food and video poker but the cash back is weak. I give the stardust a visit now and then to keep in their good graces because their out of town maiings can be fantastic. I like the orleans and the suncoast but for out of state mailings you can just about forget it. Hope this helps. Rick
