I am staying on Strip & would really like to visit Casino Montelago.
I have never rented a car in Las Vegas (that traffic is SCARY) Is
there any other way to get back & forth. What would a cab cost? Any
other suggestions? Thanks for any info you can give me.
visit to Montelago
I would guess that a taxi would cost more than $30 EACH way

I asked the same question several months ago and the best solution
we could come up with was to bus it to Fiesta Henderson and take a
cab from there. I was staying at BC and decided it would just be
too time consuming.
I mapped it on the AAA website and it said 7.9 miles - 15 minutes
from FH to Hyatt Lake Las Vegas. I think the problem is finding a
cab that goes out that far.
Please report if you try this. We're going in October and might be
willing to give it a try. Thanks, Pam

The Las Vegas Sun is reporting today (8/12), "The Canadian company
that developed the Lake Las Vegas' MonteLago Village is selling a
majority ownership interest in nine commercial properties attached to
resorts, including the Italian-themed village in Henderson." I don't
think the casino is included in this deal, but changes always seem to
take place with new owners.

The deal only includes retail and office space, but the casino is
not owned by that company anyway. It's owned 100% by CIRI - Lakeside
Gaming Investors, LLC, which is a corporation owned by members of an
Alaskan Indian tribe.
