VIP Requirements in Reno: Coin-In Amounts

Thanks for the compliment, but I am not an expert on anything except
my chosen profession - which is NOT video poker, or any other form of
gambling.

Since you already paid for your first night at Atlantis, I doubt that
you will be re-imbursed for that night. That is a difficult thing for a
host to get "undone", unless you are a high roller. If you paid the Atlantis directly, and not a third party on-line discounter, you could
ask for a credit card refund, at the end of your stay.

As far as your intended play is concerned, unless you are black chip
table player for at least four hours daily, I wouldn't think that play
would have much impact on your chances of scoring discretionary comps.

As for your VP play, I would suggest that you phone the Atlantis,
(Main # 1-775-825-4700 - VIP Direct # 1-800-833-9300) and ask to speak
to a host. Tell the host what you will play, for how many hours daily, and your what your approximate daily coin-in amounts will be. If that
information is accurate, they should be able to tell you approximately
how much they will be able comp with discretionary comps.

The best thing to do is charge everything to your room, and see a host
at check-out time to find out how much of your bill they can zero out.

It is not likely that a host will pre-comp you if you have no playing
history at the Atlantis.

Weekday rooms are less expensive than those on Friday and Saturday. So,
checking out on Thursday may work in your favor.

Good luck in Reno and in Europe!

Patricia- since you seem to be an Atlantis expert maybe I can get some advice on what I can expect for a room comp and how to get it.

I am going on a 7 night trip to Reno early October. The last 3 nights at Atlantis. I already booked 3 nights-I believe it was $89 plus resort fee. They already charged my credit card for one night and I paid it........

Yeah I paid them directly so I guess "we will see".
I play $5-$10 BJ so I guess that won't amount to much!
