The new "wing" at Viejas is open. My first impression is that it is
mostly for high rollers. There is a pit with limits about the same as
the other pits. And there are some low denom. slots, including a big
carousel-style 1-cent Wheel of Fortune.
The VP is pretty much $2 and up. I saw mostly 99%+ games for $2 and
up, including a couple of 50-cent 100-play machines. The best game I
saw was Triple Bonus Plus (99.8%).
There's a nice bar with the same 99% games available on one side and
no machines on the other side.
The style of the whole area is a little swankier than the rest of the
casino. One nice feature are the large, mostly colored, windows
featuring the pastoral surroundings of the reservation.
