Video Poker Tournament

I will be at the MillionaireMaker Video Poker Tournament at the Flamingo in
July, too. I played in the MMVP Tournament at Rio last month, but didn't
win anything.

Casinos should raise the prize pool for any tournament if they get more
participants than they planned for. But, they often don't. And, just like
everyone at the Rio tournament mentioned below, I get upset, as well, when
they don't.

Over the past year, I have won several video poker tournaments at the
Flamingo. My biggest wins were third place and tied for second place.
Unlike most other casinos, the Flamingo discounts Royal Flushes. If you get
a RF during a tournament, they will deduct 3,000 points from your total
score (netting 1,000 points for the RF) and give you a $100 cash bonus. I
have never played in their "MillionaireMaker" video poker tournaments, so I
don't know if they will be consistent with the reduced RF payoff or not.

the
one at Bally's starting Monday. Hoping it will be the same game and not
quite as many participants.. Jan in SoMd
