To all subscribers to Video Poker Times,
IMPORTANT! Preserve your subscription!
As you know, we recently moved from Las Vegas. Shortly after the
move, I had a hard drive crash, and my subscriber address list was
lost. I have been unable to find the backup CD I made before the
move. It is apparently among some stuff that got lost in the move.
If you are a current subscriber, and you haven't already sent your
complete name and mailing address, along with the date and amount of
your last payment, DIRECTLY TO ME at Dan@OptimumPlay.com, then you
MUST send it now, or your subscription will be lost.
If you have already responded to a message such as this, but hit
Reply and sent it to a VP forum instead of directly to me, then I
probably didn't get it, so your subscription will likely be lost if
you don't send the information directly to me.
If you know someone who is a subscriber but may not be a member of
this forum, please pass this along.
If you received a notice with your last issue saying that your
subscription was expiring, I have no way to send you another renewal
notice, so you can still renew for only $36.00.
SPECIAL: Get a copy of "All The Best of Video Poker Times" (regular
$29.95 + $4.00 S&H) for only $20.00 postpaid if you are a current
subscriber or if you order it at the same time as a subscription or
renewal.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
FYI, our move had nothing to do with the changing video poker scene.
We will be visiting Las Vegas frequently to play video poker. We have
retired (except for continuing my video poker interests) and decided
to move close to our son and his family, and at the same time greatly
reduce our expenses. Some examples: We bought a bigger house here for
just over half of what we got for our LV house. Property taxes are
also about half. Just before the move we received the registration
renewal notice for our 2000 Honda Odyssey. The cost would have been
over $330.00, plus a smog check. Total cost here was $64.50. Regular
gasoline runs about 25 to 30 cents per gallon less here. We moved to
Las Vegas in 1989 as a semi-retirement move, but Nevada is becoming
just an extension of California (sans the good coastal climate), so
we no longer consider it to be a good retirement area, but it's still
a great vacation destination.
