Video Poker Strategy Master question

I have not used VPSM in a long time. I noticed that even though I set
the number of coins at 5 the strategy is still generated in single coin
bet with EV based on same.

Like I said, it has been a long time. So my question: Is that normal
or have I corrupted the program someway in my reinstall?

In my case, the strategy EV's for each hand entry reflects the number
of coins shown in the paytable value for each hand.

For example, if the coin value is set to 5 and the RF value shows as
4000, the Pat RF EV displayed is 4000 coins. If I reset the coin
value to 1, the RF automatically resets to 800 by default (based upon
the 5 coin setting), and the Pat RF EV is 800 coins.

Were I to make a blind guess, I'd suggest that you've entered single
coin payout values while the coin value was set to 5. But it's
possible that you do have some type of corruption present.

Out of curiosity, what version does your software display? (Help/About)

Coin value is 5. RF is 4000, on strategy it is RF 800.

Version is 2.03j+

What is your version?

Anybody else have any ideas?

Even if that isn't the way it's supposed to work, as long as the
payouts are in the right ratio to each other, it will still generate
the right strategy. Strategy has nothing to do with how much was bet.
Try reinstalling it or if you've lost your disks, ask Tomski for
replacements.

The latest version is 2.03k. The situation you described did not show
up in version 2.03k. If you want an emailed update, let me know.
Also, for those with Vista, the standard VPSM install has problems if
you install it to the default directory. But if you instead pick a
different one of your choice, it will work. (ie pick c:/vpsm instead of
the default) TomSki

I understand that. How do I know they are correct?

TomSki comes through again. Thanks. I still think your strategy
charts are the easiest to read and use.
