Video Poker Player Mickey

I have recently joined this group, only to find out if any of the
members here know a video poker player named Mickey. I have recently
run into him, and don't believe most of what he has to say. In regards
to video poker in montana. Someone let me know what they think.

Oh boy. I've never had the pleasure of meeting him in person. Based on
his past posts, I'd like to believe most of what he says. Ask him
about flush attacks. Group?

Hey, I don't know if Mickey's stories are true or not but they make for great reading so that is all that is important to me

I can combine them with a friend of mine who worked in the casino industry and used to beat the players out of their money. He had a regular that would come in and had the cards set so the guy would lose. He would also do false shuffles so the player would lose since the cards were set. He would be the boxman in craps and take the chips that a player had bet on the 10. One time he told me he did the opposite and did a swap of an entire shoe of cards on the table. Apparently the cards were set up so the player's on the table could make a killing and that is what they did. Again, I don't know if my friend's stories are true but they are great to hear.

Looks like this doesn't work if you're using Internet Explorer
(I use Mozilla Firefox) because it puts spaces where they
shouldn't be.

Search for "mickeycrimm" and you'll get over 1200 messages,

For a stacked shoe you would have to have all perfect basic stretegy players to not mess up the stack. I don't know about, you but I've never been at a table where all played perfect strategy. Usually only one or two at the most. Good luck!!

Richard,

As I understood it, the other players left at certain intervals. I even asked where they got a shoe full of cards that had not been marked and he said that employees took them over a period of time. Like I said, it's a good tale. Whether it is true or not, who knows...

Not true at all! Imagine removing some low cards and replacing them with high cards.
Or Imagine grouping/bunching the cards but only the players in-on-it know about the
groups. Sure it would better if everyone was in on it-- but it is not a requirement, and nor is
a full table, or basic strategy. (In fact, if you know the cards coming up, you don't want to
play basic strategy)

Point taken. I hadn't looked at it that way!

First, I'd like to say Hi to the vpfreers. I've been off the site for
6 months. I've enjoyed the respite. I will probably only be on the
site for a few days to catch up on things then go back into radio
silence.

Richard,
Oh, boy. Me and my drunken mouth. Richard, you are the poker dealer
at the Oxford in Missoula, correct? I've written on vpfree about two
Montana games, Jackpot Aces and Kings Pay. I still have those two
plays going. However, the play is based on meter mistakes the
technicians make. There are 17,000 machines in Montana spread out over
1700 licensed establishments. I currently have plays on less than a
dozen of them. I just found another one the other day. I only have
one machine for the Kings Pay. The meter on the jackpot hand, 4 Kings,
is supposed to start at $50 but I have a machine where it starts at
$400. It comes in at 110.9% plus 2% meter. Finding these plays is
like finding a needle in a haystack, but I do my reconnaisance everyday
and manage to stay in work.

I just lost a huge play in Billings. 18% overlay running $750 an hour
in action. A $135 an hour play. It was a meter mistake where it
should have been resetting at $100 but was resetting at $500. The slot
attendents finally blew the whistle and cost themselves about $500 a
week in tips.

It is highly frustrating talking to the average Montanan about
professional gambling. But I can tell. Richard, that you have the
smarts for it. I can't lead you to my plays. I have to protect my
position. But you are on the right site for learning about and adding
video poker to your gambling arsenal. Good luck. I'll see you at the
Ox the next time I'm in Missoula.
