So I sit down at the only open machine in the bank I want to play. Next to
me is an extreme button slapper. She plays video pokler like Liberace
played the piano - with sweeping gestures that end with loud slaps.
Not a problem. I have an mp3 player and put on my headphones.
After a while, I notice her turn towards me and say something. I remove the
earbud and she repeats herself for me.
"You know, cracking your knuckles is annoying."
Instead of pointing out the obvious, I tell her it doesn't bother me at all,
and go back to playing.
