video poker in arizona

From: "daniel_prokosch" <daniel_prokosch@yahoo.com>

Save your money and go to Nevada - Laughlin in particular if you don't like to drive that much. I don't know why you'd pick Ft. McDowell over Casino Arizona for vp if you must play in Az. anyway. Cas. Az. has all TITO machines up to $5, and all vp machines are multi-play/multi-denom. Pay tables are pathetic. But they are a well-run outfit if you can trust the machines not to be biased (which I don't). They seem to know what's going on. I never got a slot card nor hit a taxable there, but after getting one dollar DB quad Aces, I was escorted out and told not to return. I tested it once and was caught immediately somehow. Very impressive for an Indian joint.

Earlier this week I was in a Marriott Executive Lounge at 11:30pm and had an interesting experience. The TV was on and I heard a familiar voice. It was Jean Scott talking about video poker on the Discovery Channel. What's odd about this? This Marriott is in Mumbai (Bombay). It was on the local Disc. Channel with Indian subtitles. People (all Indian tourists) were watching, but I have no idea what they were thinking.

I am hoping they were thinking, "I better buy her book."
