Video Poker for Android devices

I saw a phone confiscated once (it could have been a PDA). The owner
deserved it as he made it so obvious.

General advice: If you have a vp program on a mobile device -- DON'T USE IT
IN THE CASINO.

I've had WinPoker on my phone for 2 years & I have yet to use it in or out
of the casino. For most people, the reason for using it is to check plays
that are so close, you're talking about pennies/hr. If you really want to be
good, practice at home or in your room but be smart & don't do it on the
casino floor.

I have not seen it happen yet, but I assume that you could possibly have
your phone confiscated and/or be trespassed from a property if you are
caught using one. With the level of paranoia at some casinos here in town,
it is probably only a question of time until this happens.

Obvious is the key word. I have had Winpoker on my iPod for a few months now, but have never taken it out in the casino.

Now I have an Android phone, but WinPoker, alas, is not available for those devices.

Apparently no alternative is being recommended, as not have responded on here to that effect.

Confiscated by whom? The police or the owner/operator? Security doesn't have
the right to take things from you, no matter what they think their shiny
badges mean.

If the eye in the sky captures you constantly looking up the best play on a handheld computer/ smart phone while sitting at a video poker machine - They can confiscate it as evidence and call the cops. Odds are, if you're in the coffee shop, sitting at a bar ( not playing VP ), or walking around inside they probably wont do squat. I've been using strategy sheets ( mine is the finest around with over 60 games at expert level ), for several years and have never been hassled. I even left it on a machine one time, and the next day the attendant tapped me on the shoulder and said -hey buddy you left this at the machine the other day...thanks.
But computers of any type, while actively playing ...that's a no-no...and law. Don't test it, Casino's are anal about this and unless you want to spend a couple thousand in legal fees and possible black listing. isn't worth finding that extra penny EV...my 2 cents.

hi there,

the listing for bronco billy's shows three (3) 5c, 3-play bartops, but this has been reduced to two (2) machines.
the listing also shows four (4) 25c, 3-play uprights; this has been reduced to three (3).

hello again,
the century casino listing shows 12 DDB progressive bartops at the bar ... this is no longer the case ...
instead there are now four (4) slant tops in a row perpendicular to the bar. while these machines appear to be progressive from a distance, they actually are flat payscale for 25c play ... 1c play is progressive, but not with the same payout structure (they are *not* 1-1-3-4-6-10-50-80-160-160-400-40-800). the bank is clearly marked with red "99.96% payout" buttons.

I carry my strategies in a 3 X 5 inch pocket notebook. If I get asked what I'm doing, which I have, I tell them I'm looking to see if I have condoms, er, shaving cream on my Wal-Mart shopping list.
