I welcome all comments about video poker bars (VPB).

I think you're asking the wrong crowd. We're sharpies who only frequent a
bar if the paytables are over 100%. And, my previous joking about Advantage
players bringing in their own care worn water casino bottles is not such a joke.
So, why would you want us there?

You say you've been in the F&B biz before. If you haven't met up with the
Mafia boys yet then be prepared to give up a little profit if you get into
gaming in bars. The reasons the mob got run out of large casinos is they didn't
have the organizational skills to run big corporations. They mostly left town
for Indian gaming, cruise ship gaming but are still here in Vegas running,
adult businesses, small casinos and Video Poker Bars.

I've seen small casino "owners" talking in the back of the coffee shop with
old guys who didn't seem to happy. The casino guy leaned forward like he was
listening intently. I often wonder how a guy who's name is the opposite of the
Chairman Babe's now defunct casino project, "LEW'S" got into big time
gaming after starting in a beverage business. I don't know, If I were a gas
station chain operator and got an offer of a big secret loan to buy a casino in
Vegas, rebuild it, build one in Pahrump, and all the while funding an off road
racing team, I might go for it. It's kind of like... who would dare vote
against Oscar Goodman when he runs for re election?

I think this is a common misconception. Not everyone on this list is an "advantage player" or even wants to be one. There are a lot of recreational gamblers here who have various goals and interests - all legitimate!!
