Video Poker Bars

First off, let me say that I have never been in a video poker bar, and
know nothing about them.

Do any of you play in them? If not, why not? If so, why?

I welcome all comments about video poker bars (VPB). I am considering
opening one, then many, and would like to see what advantaged players
have to say about them. I can't share my idea here, but would like
comments about existing VPB's

Thanks,

Kurt

Let me add this, as my previous message doesn't represent my
background much. While I'm not familiar with VP bars, I have vast
experience in owning, running, and managing, both bars and other food
service businesses. It's only the VP part that I have no experience
in, but am considering. Again, thanks for any insight that an
advantaged player may have.

In the upcoming 3 months I will be visiting VP bars extensively,
looking at all the variables, and speaking with the owners, etc. Your
insight will assist me in what I am looking for.

Thanks,

Kurt

Whatever you do, I hope you will buck the trend and have some FP
machines in your establishment.

I think most of the people that frequent this forum are used to sitting
on the other side of the bar. I have noticed that a lot of the small
operations tend to align themselves through Gamblers Bonus. They can
set you up, take care of a slot card system, and of course take
revenue. It does free you up to concentrate on the food and beverage
end of the business.

I was just reading an article yesterday about a some guys in the Reno
area setting up something like you are talking about.
