Very Sad Day Bonus Poker at Paris gone

I totally agree with everything you said. I have been very
fortuante in this game and yes I have had a weekend long losing
streak at it (it was the only game available except for JOB which
was taken up by others) however, I have such success at this game
that it makes up for that occassional losing streak. When I say such
success - I can tell you I am well over 101% for this game. It is a
game I truly enjoy. I always try to play 10/7DB or 10/6 DDb but if
its not available I know I can certainly play BP. I like deuces
9especially NSUD) and have played thousands of hands on both
Winpoker and in real life. Unfortuantely, even in Winpoker..the four
little 2's don't care for me much. At least not in the past 2
years. I have no idea why and the reason I kept a running game on
Winpoker was to see if I was making any major mistakes, the few I
made were minor and over the course of so many hands, never entered
in the overall ev. lets put it simply I was lucky to finally get it
over 98% return both on the computer and in real life. We track all
of that stuff in our spreadsheets. So, I am with you and I
don't think its a horribel game. I have gone one step further
thought, recently a 7/5 BP with a royal progressive was very high
and I played it alot. I felt funny playing it even though I knew
that if I counted the points i was getting and added it to the ev -
it put it at 99.997%. It kept climbing and drove me nuts because I
felt like i was doing something wrong. No, I did not get that
royal but I thought I would share.

I have played 8/5 BP and had a royal on a $5 machine to show for

it

three trips ago.

I am one of those players that gets "spooked" by four aces on a

Jacks

machine, and I'm not crazy about seeing four 2's, 3's or 4's,

either.

Bonus Poker is a survivable game if you occasionally see one of

those

hands. If you play all day and do not, you're probably going home

a

loser. But a big part of the value of the game is getting double

the

money back on the two pair. In that sense, it doesn't play all

that

differently than Jacks if you see those "premium" quads here and

there

to balance the hit you take on the FH and flush. And if the comps

come

a bit quicker, you may actually be better off.

I'm no advocate of 7/5 BP, but calling 8/5 BP an awful or horrible
game is streching it a bit, methinks. If you play thousands and
thousands of hands, sure. But for the average tourist it is quite

a
