It is somewhat difficult to get one of the $1 9/6 JB machines during a
tournament. You can try early in the morning or late at night. I believe some of
the nearby machines have 8/5 Bonus which could be an alternative. The
Venetian tournaments are good in that there are actually 2 tournaments so you have
twice the chance of winning something. I've often won $100 - unfortunately
no luck in getting a top prize except for a few years ago when my husband had
a good score in a reel tournament there and won $5000 (2nd place).
