Venetian Slot Tournament last week

Hi all,

I had a good time, but did not win a thing, not even slot credit. Can anyone tell me how the slot tournaments work at Venetian? I got another 3 nights free for the Wheel of Fortune Tournament July 16-19. There is a $50,000 slot tournament and a $100,000 sweepstakes. It says in the schedule of events Earning Period begins at 3:00pm 07/16 and ends 5pm 07/19 what does this mean? Maybe that is way I did not win even slot credits this last time around. I want to be sure I am playing to win. Can anyone give me pointers?

Thank you so much,

How many times are you going to ask the same question? Let see you have two choices. One is to call a host and ask. The other is to read the English wording on the invite. In the invite on the inside left cover does it not say "you'll receive one Sweepstakes entry for every 100 points you earned between 3 p.m. on July 16 and 5 p.m. on July 19-the more you play, the more chances you have to win!" They gave you 100 chances for the slot tournament because the prize only pays up to 100th places. They gave you an additional 300 chances for the $100,000 sweepstakes because the prizes pays up to 300th place. So the by getting extra tickets, playing 100 points for each additional entry it will increase your chances. They want you to pump in extra money and tap your bankroll for a $50 slot credit. Got it? You want a pointer? Take your money and go play video poker instead of Wheel of Fortune.

Hi All
Does Wynn have any 9/6 in $1 or is the best game available the $2 triple play?
Received a decent summer offer after not hearing from them for a long time. We used to go there now and then and averaged abt 40k per day on the 9/6 $1 triple plays. Then all of a sudden our offers stopped.

Thanks

Wynn no longer has $1 9/6 JOB. There is a bank of $1 BP progressive at
Encore which is the best dollar play. I hear that there is 9/6 JOB on the
$2 Spin Poker machines near Red 8, although I haven't looked recently. At
the $5 level, you will find 9/6 JOB all over.

Thank you for your kind words. I did read it and dropped about 7,500 this last slot tourney on video poker and did not even get slot credit. So I called Club Grazie and the person said it did not matter how much I gamble that did not seem right. This is way I asked this question. So the next question I have is do I need to play wheel of Fortune game to rack the points? Or can you gamble on game? I mostly play VP and BlackJack. Since no one at Club Grazie knows or will not answer right I am asking here. I don't want to bother my host for this kind of question. It just seems like since everyone here has a lot of gamble no how I asked here. Sorry if it seems to bother some folks. I thought this site was to pass on info for vp and slot tournaments if not I am so very sorry.

Have you seen the coin-in requirements for VP? For 9/6 JOB it's now $17.50 for one point, assuming you are at gold level. Since sweepstakes entries at those tournaments are based on points accumulated during the earning period your best chance of winning something is to go into the high limit room and bang away at a high denomination slot machine for a couple days. Whether that's a good idea, you'll have to decide.

If you mostly play VP and care about the pay schedules you're playing you can pretty much forget about winning anything in the sweepstakes since there's no way you'll be able to accumulate enough points.

There was also $1 8/5 Bonus on the 5 Play MS near the Red Card desk, but check the paytable to make sure the royal isn't shorted if you only choose to play one hand at one level. I know it's a chore not to hit the MAX button on plays like this. But it is similar to playing one hand on the $1 50 Play at MGM Grand in High Limit which was full-pay last time I was there (which was not recently).

The $1 8/5 BP progressive at Encore is way in the back, so it will take you awhile to find it. The royal was up to almost $9000 the night I played but by breakfast the next day back down to $4K. Those machines are popular under "elevated" royal circumstances, fairly empty otherwise.
