I've read that if one shows their Diamond or 7* card at the Venetian
they are upgraded to a higher level than the standard red card. I
showed my card last month an got the red card. (Dummy me thought the
red card was the upgrade.) I'm going to be in Vegas next week. Would I
be wise to check with the slot booth to see if I qualify for an
upgrade? The line was huge when I signed up up. We were waiting to
see "Jersey Boys" at the time and I really didn't put in much play.

Venetian Card upgrade
They will give you the upgrade to Gold. However, not all the booth
people are aware of the policy. Ask to speak to a manager if they
refuse your request.
