VegasInc: Station Casinos revamps Boarding Pass perks to entice gamblers

I just checked my account and found my points to
have increased by 40%.

As for card benefits, the chart still shows that
President gets 75% off up to eight people and
Chairman is 75% off unlimited.

According to my online account, my point balance also increased a lot.

The card benefits on my online account also say President and Chairman get 75% off the buffet. And Gold gets 25% and Platinum 50%.

But that may not be right since the brochures available at the Rewards Centers say Gold is 0%, Platinum is 25% and President and Chairman are 50%.

I would say the brochure is more likely to be right. They ought to revise the online chart ASAP.

The card benefits chart is no longer on mystation.com when I login and click on "Status". I'm hoping it will return with the correct information.

Could be because there are no benefits? Seriously though has anyone elses
points remained exactly the same? I earned close to 16000 points playing
live action poker at palace station with no multiplier and i did not recieve
a point "boost" that being said my points are now worth far less.

ONLINE IS INCORRECT. I asked about that at the meeting, they said the brochure was correct and online was incorrect.

Mine have stayed the same (so far).

I'm curious as to all the fuss over points for buffets - don't any of you get the buffet coupons in your monthly mailers?

And even if they don't get buffet coupons, aren't the amounts of points mentioned more than a human being can consume in buffets at Stations in a normal lifespan? They must be Highlanders!

Funniest line of this thread:
"I lost about $14,000 worth of buffets!"

I'm curious as to all the fuss over points for buffets - don't any of you get the buffet coupons in your monthly mailers?

AT President level, I get a 2 for 1 on the buffet coupon, or 2 for 1 in China Spice ONCE during the month so NO I don't get free buffets.
Can't combinbe the coupon with points, so it is worthless, as I USED to get 75% off the buffet.

I like taking friends and relatives to dinner in the buffet. When there are 8 of us, it made for a really nice experience. Now... no longer. I did not used to worry about groceries, as there was always the option of taking friends and fmaily to the buffet. In future when I stopped gambling so much, I was used to seeing this as a cushion. Lots of "business lunches taking out clients etc.

Not only the buffet, but the regular restaurants as well. 600 pts to the dollar is like a 40% discount on their "regular" price.

Not to mention on 1/2 pt. senior Wed. hubby liked getting about $100 worth of Sushi, for the point equivalant of about $30 at "todays" prices,
(used to be 30K in points, now 100K in points)

No more!

The new point structure is going to KILL their restaurants!
Even Silverton knew they made a mistake and now has 1/2 pts all month in their cafe and mexican restaurant. I suspect stations will HAVE to do the same, after they get over the massive cashout of benefits!
