anyone know the best play and machine to play video blackjack in
vegas? thanks.
vegas video blackjack question
The best video blackjack in Las Vegas is the BJ Blitz games. There is
one in the LV Hilton in the Sportsbook area that I can confirm was
there at the end of December. You must bet in even dollar
demoninations to get 3 for 2 for BJ. So $2 min bet and I think the
maximum is $100. I could be wrong. Once upon a time, I knew the
number of decks and the split and double rules. It's more than I can
tell you now. In general all other video blackjack outside of BJ
Blitz pays even money for blackjack, so you are giving up a lot.
Other places that used to have and may still have these games include
Bally's, the Luxor, and the Stratosphere. My last confirmation of any
of these being in existence was last April. Based on comps and
cashback, the Stratosphere is the least attractive play and also had
harsher rules than any of the other games. I like the Hilton cause I
can watch the Raiders lose while playing blackjack at the same time.

On my last trip the rules of the BJBlitz machine at the Hilton were as
follows: 6 Decks, Double 10/11 only, No Double after split, No
resplitting of pairs, and Dealer stands on soft 17. The expectation of
this game is -.75%. It used to be a good game with high cashback and
high comp rates, but now the cashback has been lowered to .33% like the
rest of the games at the Hilton. It's still a decent play if you like to
watch sports.
thank you very much. Does anyone else know if there are other places
in Vegas with this Blackjack Blitz game? Thanks.
