Vegas TR

Thanks for the trip report. I bet your new-to-vp daughter is saying, "What an easy game" and already planning her next trip to Las Vegas!

Had another successful low-roller trip to Vegas.

Oh yeah, but I have warned her that there are generally more losing trips than winning ones. The first several Vegas trips we took after I leaned vp strategy, I hit at least one royal and I thought it was awfully easy. Then a few years later I went on a losing streak and thought I'd never hit one again.

It is virtually impossible to convey to some non-gambler, especially a young one, how bad things can get. I think it is natural for someone to start off winning and think, "Oh, this is easy". And it don't matter how much you talk to them and warn them. It seems to just be human nature. One would really have to be rational and perceptive to go into it with no experience and accept your warning completely. They've got to go through it themselves.

Ok, I guess I did hit one, but for $2.50 on a penny 50 play machine. That really doesn't count. We played 5,000 points through on the FPDW machines at the Palms.
Does that mean that during that time I gambled $5000? I'm never sure how that works.
Came close to the Royal many times. Just missed by one card about 20 times. Still no cigar. Did hit the Ducks once. That was nice and proved to be the profit of the trip.
Stayed 3 nights at the Golden Nugget and then took a bump Sat. and spent Sat. night at the Palms. Had broken exactly even before the extra night.
Keep using the #6 urinal.

It was crazy the other day ! I was also, stuck with that infamous "one card away" 20 times minimum, within a span of 6 hours of playing. ahhh, the agony..lol..Everyone kept saying, you are due, it'll happen, so, I am expecting it next time..hehe...let us know when it hits Brad and I will too !

Don't understand how you won only $2.50 on a 4000 penny hit for the Royal? WOn't that be $40? And what is the #6 Urinal?

When you play one coin per line the royal only pays 250 coins. I have no clue about the #6 urinal (or any urinals for that matter).

And what is the #6 Urinal?

This is where the problem lies. The third urinal from the left is the lucky one!

These were my favorite game, but when I visited last night they were gone. The change guy didn't know anything. Even though they weren't full-pay, I had a pretty good run on them.

Always start your urinal count from the first one available. If there's not six then hold it and go to another restroom.
Could someone please tell me how many dollars that 5000 points is equal to at the Palms in the FPDW?
Thanks

You guys want to talk about lucky urinals? Why don't you discuss what percentage of guys (pigs) in a casino do NOT wash their hands afterward and go straight back to the tables? Start a new thread. lol
