The strip isnt really carved out of the city. The city of Las Vegas
goes as far south as Sahara. So the only "Strip" hotel actually in
the city limits is the Strat. Most of the city of Las Vegas is
directly around downtown and out to the west towards Summerlin. Here
is a map showing the city limits...
