I got this private email as a response to my Vegas trip report. I was just
curious what other members of the AC and Vegas boards thought about it.

I hope you inquired whether they took there own medicine and quit vp
for the rest of their life when they found themselves ahead of the
game for the first time (or have they been a "loser" all THEIR life).

And I dearly wish that a misunderstanding about a restaurant comp was
my greatest slip in a casino.

Dear Coach and Hedy too!

Always consider the source! Obviously the poor fellow is eligble
to park in a "Handicapped" parking space. MENTALLY handicapped does
count!

Many of us throughly enjoy your very amusing, interesting and well-

of the forum!

If I read your report correctly, for $1K
you had a high-end, week long vacation for
two in LV. From your report it sounded
like you really enjoyed yourself. I should
be such a loser.

Dear CoacVEE:

I am quite willing to admit to a certain degree of "envy" every time
I read one of your TRs, and I doubt that I'm alone amongst the
others on these lists. But it's the kind of envy that exists in
tandem with my feelings of happiness and pleasure that you and Hedy
are having such a great time "post retirement". (Hope mine is half
as much fun - but it's still a long way away!).

I believe that the sender of that vicious post surpasses that sort
of envy and, instead, is filled with jealousy and rage and what can
only be discerned as the "good fortune" of lives hard-worked and
well-lived by two people who garner a lot of good will from the many
other members of these groups. I pity this person for being someone
unable to take pleasure in someone else's pleasure and enjoyment of
life.

Coach, I too was caught unawares for a dinner at Michael's at SP in
circumstances very similar to yours. Wife and I are long-time RFB
players at Barbary Coast who always had Michael's included in the RFB
status. We began play at South Coast soon after it opened with RFB
in a suite with limo privileges from the git-go. Have continued to
stay there under same status every 3/4 months through the change to
South Point, and all restaurants have been included in RFB. What
would possibly prompt either you or me to suspect that Michael's
would not be the same?

My dinner charges were also comped after I spoke to my host and
explained the circumstances as noted above. My guess is that neither
your dinner nor mine would have been comped after the fact as they
were had the hosts not recognized that the communication failure re
Michael's not being included in RFB was as much their fault as
yours. Probably more.

In any case, thanks for including this valuable bit of information in
your trip report. It will probably save many others with RFB status
