friends drove to the top of the Palms parking garage and saw it all from

Instead of going to The Strip this year, we opted to
see the fireworks right from our extra-wide kitchen
window in Summerlin -- beautiful vantage view of
the entire skyline from Fremont to Mandalay. I agree
that the eight-minute span alloted for the firework
spark was way too short.
