MONORAIL - Another piece of metal fell off the monorail after it was
back in service (following a wheel falling off), so the monorail
system is shutdown again, and possibly for weeks, since the news
report said all the monorail cars would be torn down and rebuilt to
ensure no further problems. These on and off shutdowns are
definitely a problem for the system. People who have bought tickets
and want refunds can obtain a refund via mail (sorry I don't know
where you do that - try searching the internet).
CARJACKINGS - 2 cars were jacked in the last day or so here in casino
parking lots - Bellagio and Hard Rock. Incidents were not related
and no one was hurt. But again, use caution when driving/parking in
Las Vegas (as with any large city).
