Vegas medical alert-trip to hell & back

Jeeps,
I read this site all the time but never have responded. I hope I am doing this right. But I had to respond to your post. I worked in a hospital in the administrative office for 26 years and would strongly recommed you call the hospital your wife was at and request a copy of her medical records. Then have another physician or malpractice lawyer review them. Because if your wife indeed had food poisoning, that restaurant needs to know asap. The next person who eats their meat might not be as lucky as your wife. Again, it is her right to request and get a copy of her medical record.

Good luck, J

I considered all these thoughts. My thoughts are the hospital must have
some controls in place to contact health department if something need
to be done. For all I know they might have contacted the health
department; much like they might contact police if had a gun shot
wound. Believe me, they were all aware of the food thing. As for
contacting another doctor, there were streams of doctors on this case.

All good ideas. Just more info in the unlikely event someone else hasa
situation like this.

Thanks....Jeep
