Thinking of booking a trip around US Thanksgiving i.e. from the
Tuesday before for about a week or 8 days.
How busy is it in Vegas around that weekend?
Will occupancy rates be high?
I want to use my LVA 2-for-1 room coupons but they indicate not valid
during holiday periods or conventions - does TG qualify?

Dear Flusher--I'm sure Thanksgiving would be counted as a holiday weekend here in the USA. Maybe the days just PRIOR to TG would be cheaper and would off-set
those days after that are very high or higher than normal. If you're a Harrahs player I'd check my offers under the Total Rewards sign in and see what I can get. I'm sure there would be no offers for TG unless you're like a 7 Stars or something! Vegas is busy EVERY weekend and this one is even busier since folks have a 3-4 day weekend here in the USA and many of the folks from California make the drive to LV.
If you could arrive Sun or Mon before that would give you about 3 days of cheaper rates before the influx hits! Good Luck! JH

It depends on where you are going to play but for the most part vegas
is not busy during the holidays...
