Vegas comps

General posts which solicit lengthy comments can be
daunting in nature and are often ignored or attract
limited responses.

Being a local, I don't know that much about comping
specifics for visitors, but nevertheless I have started
a reply to your post several times since you sent it,
only to abort after being overwhelmed with it's generality
and the amount of ink an answer would require.

Here's some specific input:

1. None of your choices are palatial, but all would be
acceptable to me.

2. You might also consider New Frontier.

3. $6,000 coin-in per day on FPDW is probably on the low
side to expect comped rooms and food.

4. Main Street and Sam's Town are usually favored by
visitors over your other choices.

5. Experiences of visitors who are established at a casino
may be different than a first timer should expect.

5. "vpFREE's Favorite LV Casinos for Visitors - 25c Video Poker"
Directory <http://members.cox.net/vpfree/F_V25.htm> rates
Palms first, Cal/Fremont/MSS second and LV Hilton third.

6. You should check the message archives and the individual
DataBase pages for more info on your choices.

7. If it were me, I would call MSS and see what a host
says about your level of play, and then call someone else
if I didn't like the response.

My wife and I will be going to Vegas for 3 or 4 nights sometime in the
next 4-6 weeks for some 25 cent FPDW. Our goal, if possible, is to get
our rooms and food comped on about $ 5 to 6,000 play/day total. I've
narrowed down our choices to the following places:

Fiesta Henderson
Palace Station
Sunset Station
Texas Station
Main Street Station
Sam's Town

I have only been in Sam's (several years ago), so we don't know much
about the casinos, rooms, and desireability of these places. We'd
appreciate your input on which is best for us and the amount of comps
needed versus what we would get in return.

Thanks for all your help.
