These promos are easily done for low rollers.
EW & CB have a coupon in the Entertainer for a table game Match play. You
can do it once per week and must go visit the boothlings to pick-up a chip.
What was funny is how each house did it. At CB one gal went in the back and
got some keys for a drawer to get at the chips. She made the other gal
witness and sign-off giving me a chip. At EW, the gal just went to the rack of
chips laying on the back counter.
I can't remember the last time I did a Match Play. Went 0 for 2 betting
Black.

EW did another set of $5k slot tourneys in Kokopelli's. First entry was
free, then 500 points earned that day also got you another chance. You just
walked in and banged away for 5 minutes. Top 100 scores come back at 6pm for the
money round. They even have a bartender and cocktailer. They only recorded
scores over 3000, but it took 4,200 to qualify. It took 3600 to cash, top 30
scores. Also ten random prizes given away.
Only hassle was they had too many people thinking they qualifyed. If they
would have posted large signs with the cut-off score number it would have gone
smoother. I guess some of you get invited to the bigger ones of these. I
cashed once for $50 in free-play (23rd).

Pioneer VP tourney- still only $20 coin-in to qualify. Hit quad Aces on the
Bonus 8/5-300 hand-20 minute format. Two guys had better scores in my round
but my 1910 score was good enough for 6th place ($65).
Pioneer Slot tourney- 20 minutes of play. Finished tied for 9th, but they
pay only eight.
GN-L also is doing a slot tourney on some Tues/Wednesdays. Need 100 points
in last year to play. Pay $1k in total. Need a score of 15,000+ to have a
chance. Rules posted and available to review.
Harrahs- doing their usual style of promo with the daily drawings, except
Wednesday. Wednesdays turn into a hot seat type deal for your drawing tickets.
Low rollers will need to review the rules, high rollers patience for the
frequent tickets earned.

**************
It's Tax Time! Get tips, forms, and advice
