variance on multi line play

is the variance on multi line play lower than single line play? if so,
what would the variance be on 9/6 job, 3 play and 5 play?

VFW will let you compute these sorts of things very nicely.

There is also Jazbo's web-site that goes into multi-line VP and variance.

The wizard of odds web-site has something similar.

The "short answer" to the first question is "yes and no". It is "yes" if the "cost per pull"
remains the same. It is higher if you play more lines at the same denomiation.
