Considering that I never slammed anyone in my post or said any names, I
wonder just what your agenda is? And the problem with simple concepts of
complex issues is that it is usually meant for simple people who do not
totally understand the issue to begin with.
Well you defended one case of muddled thinking by following it with
some more of your own. You then saved your for a later post concerning
"so-called 'experts'", who are much better schooled in the matter than you
are.
Personally I don't have an agenda other than to explain what, again,
is a simple matter and to point out errors when necessary. Since you
snipped out most of my post I can only assume you have no on-point
response to it and are thus embarrassed--hence the defensiveness.

Well first, I'm hardly "really upset". I'm amused that someone
would seriously try to defend some kind of specious distinction between
a given machine's "long run" and and individual person's "long run". What
on earth does that mean?...it's not even a coherent thought. Second, I
don't count among my heroes Jean Scott or any other VP guru, though she
seems to be a nice lady and very helpful in teaching beginners. Finally,
I'm pretty surprised you'd try to make what is widely known as the
fallacious "argument from authority", particularly in defending what are
in effect "the earth is flat" level arguments.
Working in the casino business and playing VP for as long as I have, I have
no doubt I have forgotten more than you will ever know.
Heh...I very, very, very seriously doubt that.
