Valley View DWBP progressive

The progressive is there and we have been playing it for years..There are only 4 machines right now and when people are hogging 2 machiines - ask them nicely if they will give one up...(there are some that will not relinguish till they have to)...just to advise you - talk to the change attendant and (usually they dont want to get that involved) so - ask for the floor supervisor immediately. This has become an issue recently & I am just asking everyone to be considrate. if you are holding a machine because your friend or spouse just went to th ebathroom or just got up to cash their ticket and they are coming back - wait to see if they come back in 5-10 minutes...dont be so rude and pushy. Please.....

I like to play these machines, but I can rarely get one unless I go EARLY in the morning. Besides groups sharing/monopolizing machines, I've seen casino personnel shut down two (of the four) machines so that a "favored" couple could take a meal break and have "their" machines waiting for them when they return. I asked if I could play one of the machines until they returned, but the staff member said no. It's very frustrating to have a few good quarter machines (in the whole county) and almost never get to play them.

You obviously haven't gotten to know the players that are regulars. Most of us have earned the level of card to shut down a machine for an hour. (or 1 1/12 if you are black card) We play that progressive for hours and have put hundreds on those machines at a time not just occasionally, You also have not checked out very many machines at the other casinos. There are several good plays around. You just have to check the machines. Even VV has more than that at the quarter level. Get to know some of the players. Be friendly and you will be surprised at how easy it is for you to get a machine when the players are finished. Often I give a machine to someone to play while I go to dinner. I don't have a problem if they win. I have more cell phone numbers from people that I have become friendly with and I will call them an offer the machine while I go eat or if I am finished playing. But most of us don't want a stranger walking up and putting $60 on it and get an $1700 royal when we have played it for 5 or 6 hours and spent $800 already. We are a friendly group for the most part.
