River Palms used to have some activities on that property. They used
the beach for their guest. They also had portable bleachers for some
music performances. Once there was a Corvette display. Not sure if
they once owned it or just rented it.
We thought the monkeys (gargoyles) may have come from the Reserve
Casino in Las Vegas when they changed to the Fiesta Henderson.

Does anyone know what once existed between the GN and RP? My
wife and I walked on the riverwalk between the two and were surprised
to see a huge paved parcel, with its own little beach, and
gargoyle-like sentinel structures along the riverwalk at the edge of
that parcel It is certainly big enough for a resort, but you don’t
really notice it from the streetside due to the odd shape/curve. But,
given the gargoyles (i.e. themed), it looks like it once was
something…?
