Using electronic devices

The smartest thing to do is to keep use of electronic devices to a minimum
inside a casino. While inside, make notes manually, then enter it when outside
or in your room. Due to electronic devices which have been used for cheating in
the past, I have a feeling that the ceiling cameras zoom in on people who
have PDAs or other devices which are out of the norm.

OTOH, if your cocktail waitress hasn't been by in a while, pull out that PDA
& some will stop by & ask if they can take a look at what you're doing.
Meanwhile ask them to radio in for the cocktail waitress while you go thru
inspection.

I can predict a future post where someone had his PDA confiscated or stepped
on while he was being led away for disorderly conduct.

Hi!

As far as keeping a "contemporaneous journal" on a small handheld
computer...

I was under the impression that casinos would not allow such things, i.e., =

a
hand-held computer being used while sitting in front of a VP machine.
